And there are always people spreading rumors about new Canon SLR bodies. Unless someone has some serious inside information, I wouldn't listen. Canon never tells me anything until they make something public. There are very few exceptions to this. They are very tight with the information. Based on what's been introduced at the past few photo tradeshows, and the fact that this is a Photokina year, I would guess a 5D replacement will be announced in the late summer or fall (August or September). April is not a typical time for a pro camera introduction, unless it coincides with an event like the Olympics. So based on past experience, I wouldn't give this rumor much creedence.
